Now which movie-lover doesn't love the following: You walk into a theater having absolutely no expectations whatsoever concerning the film you're about to watch. Then you walk out, approximately 90 minutes later, deeply impressed about what you've just seen on the big screen. Shamefully, I have to admit that my case was even a bit worse (and therefore the experience was even a bit better): I already had some expectations walking into that theater, and they weren't very optimistic. I assumed a film with a premise like THE UNGODLY could be either very good or it would just suck big-time. Nothing in-between. Just to be on the safe side, I was betting on the latter. Never was I so foolishly wrong. THE UNGODLY can easily be considered as one of the best movies about a serial killer to come out over the last 20 years.

This is a thinking man’s movie done in period with an excellent cast. I can’t really go into depth about the film with out revealing the cause and effect mechanism. It reminds me a little of Memento since it is non-linear and does not have traditional time line. If you love weird tales, film noir, and time paradoxes, then run don’t walk to your nearest film festival. I am not sure were the market is for this one but I hope it fines a home. It is what Indy films are all about.

Although children aren't entomologists, when they take a trip to the country and start roaming through fields and meadows, they do spend an incredible amount of time observing insects. Unlike grownup specialists, our knee-high observers with scabby knees have a peculiar perception of these tiny creatures, readily imagining them in utterly weird, surrealistic situations. Such an offbeat, and often comic vision provides the basis for how MINUSCULE will be showing insects in their day-to-day existence, "at grassroots level," as if we were right there with them. So forget everything you've ever learned about segmented, winged or wingless little creatures, because you're about to discover bug reality. MINUSCULE revolves around the day-to-day existence of insects. Although the series calls to mind a wildlife documentary, it's a documentary in which the insects are presented in burlesque situations, with a fair amount of philosophical contemplation thrown in. You might call it a cross between Tex Avery and Microcosmos, or grassroots slapstick. Or a docu-cartoon series.

Shortly after a painful fight with her boyfriend Ian (Paul Nicholls), Samantha (Jennifer Love Hewitt) dies in a terrible accident. Miraculously, Ian gets an opportunity to live the fatal day all over again and possibly prevent her death.
